The official term for this product is Hydrosol, and it is often considered to be a byproduct (or waste stream) of the essential oil distillation industry.  When a botanical is distilled, the resultant product is a combination of both hydrosol as well as essential oil.  When this mixture cools, the essential oil will rise to the top and can be extracted.  The remaining floral-infused waters contain identical aromatherapeutic and otherwise medicinal benefits, albeit in less concentrated amounts as their essential oil counterparts.

Unlike essential oils, which can be too harsh and volatile for many people’s skin, hydrosols are safe to enjoy liberally, misting generously on your entire face and body as an excellent method for hydrating the skin.  And all of ours are grown, picked, and distilled by hand, right on the farm.

We keep an essence on our kitchen altar, our living room altar, my work den space, and I keep the BH blend with me on the go and have blessed a couple lucky souls with it.
Each time these get sprayed they change the energy of the space entirely, transportive back to the love and care each plant and herb was tended with and the love put into the soil they grew from… as well as uplifting and connective to being present in the moment. I’ve never met essences that are so, properly named, hydrating.

I replaced my toner with the Bh Blend and I have never looked back. it is so gentle and hydrating, the scent is divine.

yes, brilliant substitution. personally we find alcohol based products to be a non starter.

I'm obsessed!

I'm obsessed with the Be Here's hydrating essences! The lemongrass scent is my absolute favorite hydrating mist of all time - a ritual I look forward to every morning and evening. I use it after cleansing and before applying the Summer Solstice serum. My skin feels so refreshed, clean and hydrated. I always make sure to have backups on hand because I never want to run out! It's that good.

i love your connection with the lemongrass. it is a very abundant grower down here in TX. we will not run out anytime soon :-)

LOVE them all!

I’ve used many facial mists, but this one stands out. The scent is heavenly, and it truly hydrates and calms my skin throughout the day. I like them all, but rosemary is actually my favorite!
